MAURA ORICCHIO 

Actress, Singer & Dancer

Maura Oricchio is an actress and performer born in Lugano.

Her artistic training began in 2010, attending courses at the Markus Zohner Academy Theatre Academy and the Aplomb School of Classical Dance, both in Lugano. In 2014, she honed her artistic skills with a scholarship at the Länsi-Suomen Opisto Art Academy in Huittinen, Finland.

Between 2015 and 2017, Maura continued her training at the MTS Musical The School, one of the most renowned academies of performing arts in Milan. During the same period, she also obtained a diploma in Music Theatre Performance from the University of West London, College of Music.

Her career took off in 2016, playing roles in productions such as "Titanic" at the Open-Air Theater in Melide, "Saturday Night Fever," and "Die Schöne und das Biest," both at the Walensee Bühne. In 2019, she participated in "Jesus Christ Superstar" and "Rock of Ages" at Le Théâtre in Emmen and worked as a voice actress for La2 Doc at Digilab Recording Studios in Cureglia. In 2020, she acted in several short films under the direction of international directors such as Leandro Sosa (Argentina), Valeria Recmanova (Czech Republic), and Annabella Frank (USA). In 2021, Maura appeared as an actress in "Il Viaggio di Emma," produced by Produzioni Dal Basso in Catania, a short film that won the Female Filmmakers Festival Berlin. She continued her studies at The Bernstein School of Musical Theater in Bologna, participating in the Advanced Training Program in Musical Theater.

In 2022, she appeared in "Space Dream" at the Maag Halle in Zurich, "Anastasia" at the Landestheater in Linz, and as an actress in "Falò" for RSI Radio televisione  svizzera italiana.

Maura Oricchio continues her theatrical career in "Dällebach Kari" at the Thunerseefestspiele and in "Der Löwe der nicht schreiben konnte" at the Bernhard Theater in Zurich, both in 2023.

Currently, she is part of the cast of the Volksoper in Vienna in "West Side Story."

Since 2023, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of ATAP and actively contributes to promoting the association's values ​​alongside her colleagues.
